My Story
Hydi Quiroz
- Hi, friends! I'm Hydi. Please to meet you! I'm an educator with a Business Degree from the University of Houston. As the proud daughter of a U.S. Veteran, I learned that perseverance, dedication, and working towards the greater good, was my calling. So, I used those values which proved to be essential skills that later translated into a successful life.
- However, life loves throwing us those curve balls, and life has not always been so kind!
- How I got started in this business.... The heart and soul of this business was rooted from a time when I lost my own home to foreclosure in 2000. My children and I, suddenly, became homeless after losing my home. When you're being faced with a huge emotional and financial burden, you can't think straight, or see the light, and all you want to do is to "flight" instead of "fight". I made that mistake, which landed me in a bad credit situation and hardship for years to come. In retrospect, I would have done things differently. I did have some good alternatives in front of me that I refused to "see". You know the ones- that pile of letters which I had written-off as "scams" were actually cash offers by investors who had the funds to buy my house "as is" and the ability to close in less than a few weeks.
Lessons Learned
DO NOT - give up in times of adversity; DO - find solutions and "REBUILD".
- Pivot, my friends! So, after my ordeal, I decided to go back to college to complete my degree; I worked hard; stayed focused and years (many years later), here I am creating solutions to others who may not see viable options to their property problems.
